“I want to teach people how to see beauty through color once again and learn how to feel through all the senses. I want people who see my art to feel fully alive and bathed in divinity.”
— Sydney Bowman
Artist Materials
Part of teaching art includes using quality tools, materials, and techniques. I will supply a list of pencils, colored pencils, watercolors, oil colors, acrylic paints, and gouache paints. It will allow fuller expression and more enjoyable interaction with proper materials that flow more naturally, have strong pigments with fewer fillers, and encourage the best expression possible with the best results. Artists then become technicians as well as focused creators.

Artist Children
Sydney continues a tradition of artistic learning since her mother’s example of painting in front of her and then with her. Sydney provided the same opportunities for her own children, two of whom received Sterling Scholarships at Olympus High School and at the State level and notoriety from the Utah Senate, Congress and Governor, and from Springville Museum and the Granite School District. They both graduated with BFA degrees from UVU. Another son paints skateboards and apparel designs, while her oldest does model miniatures and terrains.
